My "Best and Worst" day

Best / Worst day:

18-Sep-09, yes that is the "Best & Worst" day in my life. I would cherish this day for the rest of my life.
The reason I say it is the Best day is because that was the day I knew members in the Paypal team cared / missed / loved me so much. And it is the worst day because that was the last day I could work with them, as a colleague.
That morning when I stepped into my desk I saw the desk beautifully decorated. Other department folks mocked & said "Your team is celebrating your leaving", but I could feel the warmth & the emotional subtle message from the team that they wanted to wish me all the best.

Then later there was a tressure hunt game exclusively for me [I usually have some games for team building in our team day outs]. In which I will have to guess a series of hints about the members of the team & collect gifts from them if I find them within time. It was a real tough one, but I think I did a decent job. The funny part was I had to wear a funny kiddy glasses & find out the clues. I had a swell time indeed.

After that I was taken into room. Inside the room it was surprize after surprize. Lot of gifts. Everyone of them so meaning full & with lot of love. Here are some of those lovely ones. A cake with a "Good luck" icing on it, A gift voucher, A friendship display piece [Very nice words on friendship], A shirt that fits me, A mug with my photo imprinted on it [I am having that on my personal desk at home], A facebook that is filled with greetings & wishes from many whom I have worked with in Paypal & the PM team members. Could feel that every word in the book is real & came from heart and I really enjoyed the funny dialogues from movie comedians.

I heard that the team had worked on the game, arrangements, gifts, the personlized facebook secretly for many hours, together. I thank god for giving me an oppurtunity to work with in a such a caring / nice team. I felt the real meaning & power of the words "Team" & "Friendship" in every moment of my stint in the Paypal PM team.
My heartiest wishes to them to continue to be a great team in the days to come.
All the best PP PM team. You have a great man to lead you. You rock.
